Thank you for your interest in THICKREDLINE and in stopping the violence caused by victimless crimes.  Please find the THICKREDLINE Handbook below.

Here are some tips for how to THICKREDLINE Your Sheriff’s Office or Police Department.

  1. Schedule a meeting with your Sheriff or Police Chief.  Print out or order a copy of the THICKREDLINE Handbook.  You can order hard copies of the Handbook and our “Cards for Cops” here.  When you meet with the Sheriff or Police Chief give them the “Assumption of Goodwill” as many don’t like to be enforcing victimless crimes.  Explain that you are there to support him or her against the politicians who would have them enforcing immoral laws and raising revenue on their friends and neighbors. Explain you want them focused on real crimes with real victims. See if they will share and analyze their revenue data with you to help understand the impact on their bottom line: Are they so top heavy in drug enforcement and civil asset forfeiture that they would “lose” money or would the “lost revenue” from prosecuting victimless crimes be off-set by reductions in court costs, SWAT teams, armored vehicles, insurance settlements, jail expenses, and other unnecessary spending over-and-above what is required to simply protect life, liberty and property.
  2. Schedule a meeting with your elected representatives at the City or County Level – Many are under pressure to Defund the police and simply don’t understand that there is a better option that ends the violence and saves the taxpayer money.  Dave Austin, an Alderman in the City of Vergennes, Vermont voiced what many are no doubt thinking privately: “EVERYONE respects and appreciates the police when they are focused on murders, rapists, and thieves, and those who would harm the vulnerable.  It is the victimless crimes and revenue generation that cause division and strife.  I want our officers focused on busting bad guys vs. being forced to raise revenue on their friends and neighbors.”
  3. Talk with Rank and File Deputies and Officers about THICKREDLINE – We believe that most Sheriffs and Police Chiefs will be “On-Board” with doing away with enforcement of victimless crimes.  In the small number of cases where you have a corrupt Sheriff or Police Chief personally benefiting from the drug war or beholden to political patrons determined to enforce what is, in effect, medical martial law based on flawed disease models and now disproven pandemic projections then THICKREDLINE gives these officers the tools to organize themselves collectively into a united front.  It becomes essentially impossible to fire an entire department when they are backed up by the people!  You can order our “Cards for Cops” and hardcopies of the Handbook Here.
  4. Talk with Community Leaders and Journalists About THICKREDLINE – Since we are the “New Kid on the Block” most community organizers, activists and journalists don’t understand that there is an option that brings peace to the streets.  Try and identify who are the most influential and effective leaders in your community from local pastors, rabbis and clergy to Black Lives Matter and the Oath Keepers.  Get this into the hands of both the local Democrat and Republican political parties.  This is a non-partisan solution that bridges the divide and benefits all.  E-mail is effective but hard copies are impossible to delete, easy-on-the-eyes, and best for spending time with important topics.
